FAITH . FREEDOM . FELLOWSHIP
Faith is where healing begins. Faith is the cornerstone of transformation. It’s the trust in something higher. In God, in purpose, and in the unbreakable human spirit.
Here faith reminds us that healing isn’t found in isolation or despair, but in divine alignment, perseverance, and the knowing that we are never alone on the battlefield of life.
Faith represents:
Spiritual restoration and purpose
Hope in the unseen and the eternal
Inner strength to start over & rise again
Freedom is the journey of reclaiming what was fought for within and without. It’s about living unbound by trauma, fear, or limitation, and rediscovering peace, purpose, and direction.
True freedom comes from healing the mind, body, and soul so that we are no longer bound by trauma, fear, or circumstance. We will help those who have fought for freedom rediscover it within themselves through purpose, peace, and empowerment.
Freedom represents:
Liberation from military indoctrination, trauma, addiction, and limitation
Purpose-driven living & Successful Rehabilitation
The courage to rebuild and move forward
Fellowship is the bond that reminds every warrior, first responder, and volunteer that we rise together. Through brotherhood, service, and shared healing, we rebuild not only lives but also community.
It’s the trust, brotherhood, and unity that remind every person here is that you belong.
Through shared service, teamwork, and compassion, we heal together and strengthen one another.
Fellowship represents:
Brotherhood and sisterhood in service
Community, mentorship, and shared purpose
Healing through connection and belonging
Together, these three pillars are the fire of Freedom Forged Foundation. Igniting the spirit, restoring the soul, and strengthening the bonds that make us whole.
Guiding veterans and their families through life after service.
Leaving military or first responder life often feels like stepping into a world that no longer speaks your language. The Transition Navigation & Civilian Integration Support programs at Freedom Forged Foundation will bridge that gap, helping veterans, former RCMP, first responders, and their families adjust to civilian life with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Through one-on-one transition coaching, peer-support groups, family integration workshops, downloadable tools, and resource navigation, we help participants rebuild structure, reconnect with identity, and establish new meaning beyond uniform.
Our goal is to ensure no one faces the uncertainty of transition alone, providing both the practical guidance and emotional support needed to thrive on the other side of service.
Because serving your country shouldn’t mean losing yourself, your family, or your sense of belonging in the process.
Healing the soul behind the service.
The spiritual programs at Freedom Forged Foundation are designed to help veterans, former RCMP, and first responders reconnect with God, renew faith, and restore inner peace after the battles of service and transition.
Through guided prayer, mentorship, faith-based coaching, and group fellowship, we create safe spaces for individuals to explore their relationship with God beyond religion, learning to hear Him again, rebuild trust in themselves, and rediscover divine purpose in civilian life.
These programs blend trauma-informed care with spiritual grounding, helping participants move from survival to surrender and from disconnection to divine alignment.
Because true freedom isn’t just the absence of war, it’s the restoration of faith, hope, and wholeness within.

The vision is bigger than healing. It’s restoration for the WHOLE community.
The Freedom Forged Foundation is preparing to establish a full-scale equine therapy and rehabilitation sanctuary on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
This facility will serve as a safe haven where veterans, former RCMP members, first responders, and their families can rebuild life, faith, and purpose after service. The public will have access to the grounds, facilities, and public programs and all proceeds will go into funding the foundation to support veterans & the foundation's causes.
Here’s what the future Freedom Forged Sanctuary will offer:
A peaceful, nature-rich environment where horses play a vital role in emotional regulation, trauma healing, and trust restoration.
Through structured equine-assisted therapy and outdoor programs, participants will experience grounding, connection, and renewal. Guided by trained professionals and peer mentors.
Safe, supportive housing options for both short-term recovery and long-term reintegration.
Designed for veterans and first responders in transition, as well as volunteers and staff who live and serve on-site.
No one heals in isolation. Community and connection are part of the cure.
Tailored workshops and group sessions for spouses, partners, and children, helping families understand the transition process, improve communication, and rebuild trust and stability at home.
Because when one person serves, the whole family does.
Hands-on workshops and mentorship programs to help participants rediscover purpose, learn transferable skills, and transition into meaningful civilian roles.
From trades and agriculture to leadership and entrepreneurship, each workshop empowers veterans to build a life beyond survival.

Veterans serving veterans - purpose through leadership
-Core Philosophy-
Every person who works or lives on-site should understand service, discipline, and healing firsthand. The entire environment is designed by those who’ve served, for those who’ve served.
-Veteran Led Program Model-
“Those who served now lead the way to healing.”
At Freedom Forged Foundation, most programs will be led or guided by those who have served. Our veteran-led model transforms lived experience into leadership, empowering former military members, RCMP, and first responders to teach, mentor, and inspire others on the path to recovery.
Here, the skills that once served their nation become tools for personal and collective healing. Veterans lead equine therapy sessions, tactical training, vocational workshops, and community programs — offering participants structure, discipline, and genuine understanding from people who’ve walked the same path.
This model restores purpose, builds trust, and bridges the gap between service and civilian life. It’s not therapy from a textbook, it’s transformation through experience, shared mission, and brotherhood.
At Freedom Forged, our heroes become healers. Their service continues! Not in combat, but in compassion.
“Freedom Forged Foundation is a veteran-led training and rehabilitation center where those who once served their nation now serve their communities by teaching, healing, and leading. From survival skills and marksmanship to mechanics and horsemanship, every lesson taught here will carry the same courage that once defended our freedom.”

Healing through structure, purpose, and familiarity.
At Freedom Forged Foundation, our facility and daily operations will be intentionally designed with structure and rehabilitation in mind to emulate the structure of military life. Not as a form of control, but as a framework for healing, belonging, and growth. The facility will operate like a base; structured, purposeful, and community-oriented. The same discipline that once built soldiers now rebuilds souls. Through daily structure, teamwork, and spiritual grounding, participants rediscover balance, belonging, and self-leadership
Many veterans and first responders thrive in environments that are mission-driven, structured, and purpose-oriented. After service, the sudden loss of that structure can lead to feelings of chaos, isolation, or loss of identity.
Freedom Forged will restore that sense of order, transforming it into a therapeutic, transferable system that supports emotional stability, responsibility, and self-mastery.
Our facility will operate on clear routines, daily accountability, and chain-of-command principles adapted for rehabilitation. Residents and volunteers will participate in scheduled activities, team-based work, and peer mentorship, mirroring the discipline and camaraderie of service life. But instead of combat readiness, the mission here is healing, growth, and contribution. Tasks like animal care, facility upkeep, and community projects become therapeutic rituals that rebuild confidence and consistency.
The property itself will have a small, self-sustaining base community, with distinct zones that reflect both military order and natural tranquility. This familiar yet nurturing environment will help participants reconnect with purpose while adapting those habits to civilian life.
This environment doesn’t just comfort veterans with familiarity, it rebuilds transferable life skills for civilian success. Structure becomes self-discipline. Teamwork becomes community engagement. Service becomes purpose. Mission readiness becomes emotional resilience & nervous system regulation.
By mirroring the values and systems veterans already understand, Freedom Forged will help each participant transition from surviving to thriving, carrying the best of their training into a renewed civilian life.
Together, we forge freedom for those who fought for ours.
Freedom Forged Foundation was founded on the belief that healing happens together. Through faith, purpose, and community. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us create a sanctuary where veterans, RCMP, and first responders can rebuild their lives through equine therapy, holistic healing, and fellowship.
Freedom Forged Foundation is currently in its founding phase. We are currently building the groundwork for our veteran-led healing and rehabilitation center on Vancouver Island. All donations go directly toward start-up development, program planning, and resources for future on-site operations.

Dear friends,
The Freedom Forged Foundation was born out of both pain and purpose.
After serving in the military and walking through the shadows of trauma, PTSD, loss, and transition, I learned firsthand how difficult it can be to find peace once the uniform comes off. The battles that happen after service aren’t always visible... they’re internal. And for many veterans, RCMP members, and first responders, that silent struggle becomes the hardest mission of all.
I am creating the Freedom Forged Foundation as a living promise that no one who has served will ever have to fight alone again.
Through the healing power of horses, nature, community, and purpose, we will help those who’ve carried the weight of service find freedom again. Freedom in mind, in heart, and in spirit.
This foundation begins small, with heart and faith leading the way.
Every month, I personally tithe 10% of my business AND personal income into this mission, and every donation received from our supporters and sponsors goes directly toward to building and funding this rehabilitation center for veterans, former RCMP, and first responders.
My dream is to build an equine therapy and reintegration center. A sanctuary where those who’ve given everything can heal freely, rebuild their lives, and discover renewed purpose. In time, we’ll grow to offer transitional housing, skill-building programs, and international retreats that bring hope to those who’ve lost it.
If you’re reading this, I want you to know: you’re already part of this story.
Whether you share our mission, pray for its success, or donate to help us grow, you are helping to forge freedom for someone who once fought for yours.
With love and immense gratitude,

Holly Doxey

The face behind this mission and the veteran with the vision

Holly - Veteran, Social Services Worker, Shamanic Healer & Certified Spirituality Coach
I’m Holly Doxey, the founder of British Columbia’s Freedom Forged Foundation. A vision born from my own journey of service, struggle, and spiritual restoration.
After being medically released from the Canadian Armed Forces, I found myself fighting a very different kind of battle... one that couldn’t be seen. PTSD, loss, and the difficult transition to civilian life left me searching for meaning and peace. I learned that healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it’s forged through faith, community, and purpose.
God placed this mission on my heart: to build a sanctuary where veterans, first responders, and RCMP can heal freely, rebuild their lives, and rediscover who they are beyond the uniform. A place where the same discipline and courage that once served others now becomes a pathway to personal restoration.
Through equine therapy, holistic healing, vocational retraining, and community living, Freedom Forged Foundation is where we will turn pain into purpose... together.
For me, this is more than a project. It’s a calling. To serve again, in a new way.
To help others rise through faith.
To rebuild freedom from the inside out.
To forge a community where no one walks alone.
You've served, now let me serve YOU.
After six years post military release with a diploma in social services and a career in spiritual life coaching, I have experienced first-hand how difficult the transition into civilian life truly is but have achieved my own success and fulfillment. I live each day with purpose and enjoyment and have gained the education, knowledge, and wisdom to help support others who have been affected by service as they transition into civilian life. I hope to be able to support them and their families in every capacity to successfully rehabilitate post military service and live a life of purpose, free from trauma and pain.

Every dollar helps forge a new beginning for someone who once fought for yours.
